| Cape Town Stadium - The 1st and the 2nd test run |

There are no translations available. We just had the first in a series of Cape Town Stadium test events. It happened on January 23, 2010. As part of the City of Cape Town’s “readiness programme”, ticket-holders had the opportunity to witness the stadium’s first soccer match when two of Cape Town’s top Premier Soccer League teams, Ajax Cape Town and Santos, battled it out. Ticket prices were capped at between R30 and R50 to afford more Capetonians the opportunity to experience this exciting and historic occasion. The second Cape Town Stadium test event is going to happen today (February 6, 2010) and it will launch the Cape Town Stadium Rugby Festival. A Boland Invitational 15 side will play the Vodacom Stormers. The SA 10s Legends vs International 10s Legends promises to be an exciting curtain-raiser to the main match. |
