Learn to teach English at SASE. Our TESOL/TEFL Certificate Program is designed for students who wish to teach English as a second or foreign language. The four-week programme provides a detailed overview of ESL/EFL theory and teaching techniques. This course, taught by well qualified DELTA (Cambridge University) trained facilitators, is aimed at getting you started in the exciting field of teaching.

•    Internationally qualified facilitators with more than 10 years experience
•    3 times per year
•    Hands on practical experience
•    Internationally accepted certificate

•    The Learning Styles
•    Conducting a Needs Analysis
•    Lesson Planning
•    Teaching Techniques

•    Teaching Pronunciation
•    Classroom Management Strategies
•    Vocabulary and Language Focus (Grammar) Lessons
•    Testing Students
•    Adapting Classroom Materials for Specific Contexts
•    Using Authentic Material
•    Teaching Young Learners
•    Observing Teachers and Team Teaching
•    Practical Experience

By the end of the course, students have a principled base to start a TESL/TEFL experience in another country.

•    100% attendance (including peer-observation and input sessions)
•    3-6 practical teaching hours
•    Successful mid-course test
