TESOL Course in March - almost fully booked!

To avoid disappointment please submit your applications for our March TESOL course before 15th February as this course is already three quarters full and enrollment is on a first come first served basis.

Our January TESOL Course was a huge success and with a full class of 8 students from around the world it was our most diverse. Three of our January TESOL students will be on their way to Korea soon to kick off their new careers and one was offered a job right here at the school. The March TESOL course is scheduled as follows: 15.03.2010 until 09.04.2010 and as stated before, registration is now open.

Cape Town Stadium - The 1st and the 2nd test run

We just had the first in a series of Cape Town Stadium test events. It happened on January 23, 2010. As part of the City of Cape Town’s “readiness programme”, ticket-holders had the opportunity to witness the stadium’s first soccer match when two of Cape Town’s top Premier Soccer League teams, Ajax Cape Town and Santos, battled it out. Ticket prices were capped at between R30 and R50 to afford more Capetonians the opportunity to experience this exciting and historic occasion.

The second Cape Town Stadium test event is going to happen today (February 6, 2010) and it will launch the Cape Town Stadium Rugby Festival. A Boland Invitational 15 side will play the Vodacom Stormers. The SA 10s Legends vs International 10s Legends promises to be an exciting curtain-raiser to the main match.

Kickstart, one of our partners, is offering a new, part-time volunteer opportunity designed specifically for language school students. The program gives students the chance to participate in a Sports Development Program in the Makhaza neighborhood in the township of Khayelitsha.
