Twilight Team Run 2011

At the Twilight Team Run about 20,000 people come together, wearing outrageous/funny outfits to run, walk, skip and dance trough the city's streets for a good cause! So, the South African School of English of course wasn't missing this event!

We had great fun at the Twilight Team Run this year! After the English Course we joined the charity event at the Grand Parade Center with music, drinks, food and friends and took then part at the run through the City Center and Long Street, where we thought it's a great place to stay and to continue the party! ;-)

MyCiTi Bus started between Table View, Parklands, Blaauwberg and Big Bay areas, as well as central Cape Town, Gardens and the V&A Waterfront.

Now these reliable and safe buses extend their route even to Camps Bay!

Since last Friday, Table Mountain is officially one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature!

We had a farewell party for Dong-Wook, Ji-Yeon and Daniel.

Dong Wook and Ji Yeon a lovely couple from Korea. They've started to study at our school a year ago.  They wanted to improve their English because they want to go to study in a University or College.
During their study they've had the opportunity to learn from most of our highly qualified teachers. They speak, read and write in English now on Upper-Intermediate level, so they have a great chance to continue their studies as they've planned.

Daniel is from Gabon and he is only 14 years-old. He studied for 1 month. He was a beginner when he started and now his English is an Elementary level. Teacher Gerry helped him to make this great improvement. He will carry on studying in Gabon.
